Summer 2018 is almost here so let’s kick it off with some exciting events and amazing drinks. Grassroots’ advice for having an epic summer is to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. Try going to a new music, art or sport event. Try a new activity. Hang out with a new friend. Buy some wicked new wild posters for your company. You might be surprised at how enjoyable these different things are and you could discover something you absolutely love.
Toronto is such a fun and big city with endless events. Plus, the weather has been amazing which makes outdoor events that much more enjoyable. Grassroots is thrilled to be representing amazing clients who have some exciting summer events coming up. To start off the beginning of summer, check out the Wine and Spirits Festival on June 22nd at Sugar Beach. If you like drinking and being outside, then this event is for you.
Concerts are an awesome way to create unforgettable experiences and there are some remarkable music events happening in Toronto this summer. The Bud Light Dreams Festival is taking place June 23rd and 24th. Lady Antebellum, Ben Howard and Keith Urban are playing at Budweiser Stage this summer. The Toronto Jazz Festival is going on from June 22 to July 1st which has amazing artists like Seal and Alison Krauss. Chromeo is playing at Danforth Music Hall on July 3rd and 4th. Zeds Dead is also coming to RBC Echo Beach on July 20th. If you’re looking for new songs, check out Sofi Tukker, Yukon Blonde, Father John Misty, CHVRCHES, Calpurnia, Mike Shinoda, Arkells, and LSD.
There are also some sweet drinks to try out that are perfect for this hot weather. If you like ciders or want to cut down on the beer, try Strongbow’s Apple Ciders. If you’ve drank too many of those ciders and must work the next morning, try Red Bull Organics. It’ll give you the energy you need plus there are 4 flavors to choose from. If you’re looking for a refreshing glass of iced tea, try Peace Tea. They have some interesting flavors such as Razzleberry, Caddy Shack, and Georgia Peach. If you like watching the World Cup on massive TVs while enjoying amazing food and drinks, visit the Real Sports Bar and Grill.
The Luminato Festival is a must-see event that ends June 24th. It has cabaret, music, film, theatre and much more. The 30th annual Toronto Fringe Festival is going on from July 4th to 15th. If you are interested in art and like free events, visit the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair on July 14th to 16th.
