September Events

The month of September has many new beginnings and endings. It can be a dreaded month for some and a life changing month for others. At Grassroots, we like to make the best out of every month and our diverse client base informs us about so many cool events always happening in Toronto. Here are some must-see events that will make your September spectacular.

Toronto International Film Festival

Toronto International Film Festival has just begun and is running till September 16th.  There are several exhilarating TIFF films to check out and you may even bump into a celebrity or two.

Cabbagetown Arts and Crafts 2018

Cabbagetown Arts and Crafts is an outdoor art and craft sale that is happening this weekend in Riverdale Park. It is a great community event that has awesome food, music and art.

IdeasCity

On September 15th at the Bentway, IdeasCity will be taking place which is a free event that will be debating and exploring the cultural communities of Toronto. There will be lectures, workshops, performances and conversations. IdeasCity will be a great way to learn about other cultures and to discover other points of view.

Mozart 40

Mozart 40 is taking place at Koerner Hall from September 20th to 23rd.  The Mozart 40 will start off Tafelmusik’s 40th season.

MOCA Opening

The international grand opening of the Museum of Contemporary Art is happening September 22nd – 23rd. The grand opening weekend will have free admission and people will be able to meet some of the artists and learn more about their work.

Nitro Circus

Nitro Circus is an action sports competition that is coming to Scotiabank arena on September 30th.  It is an extremely stimulating event that has crazy stunts, dirt bike performances, base jumping and much more.
