7 things to do in toronto this holiday season

The holidays are fast approaching and there are so many heartwarming Toronto activities that will lift your Christmas spirits. We are constantly running client campaigns for exciting events and fortunately we know of many wonderful seasonal activities coming up.

Wizard of Oz Christmas Show

If you’re in the mood for lots of laughter and fun, then check out the Wizard of Oz Christmas Show. Ross Petty Productions is performing this musical until January 5th at Elgin Theatre. Ross Petty has been putting on shows for 23 years so he’s become a pro at ensuring his audience is entertained.

The Norden Festival of Cool

The Norden Festival of Cool is going on until December 2nd at the Harbourfront Centre. Experience the Nordic culture through art, food, music, film and a holiday market.

Happy Place

The Happy Place pop-up exhibit is also at the Harbourfront Centre until January 6th. The main goal of this exhibit is to make you happy by using life size installations and multi-sensory immersive rooms.

The Christmas Story

The Church of Holy Trinity is going to be performing the story of the first Christmas every weekend from December 7th to 23rd. There will be a cast of over 100 people plus amazing musicians and costumes.

Praetorius Christmas Vespers

The Praetorius Christmas Vespers concert is going to recreate Christmas Vespers in 17th-century Germany under the control of Michael Praetorius. The concert is taking place on December 14th, 15th and 16th.

Handel Messiah – Tafelmusik

The Handel Messiah directed by Ivars Taurins is playing at Koerner Hall from December 18th to 21st. There will be four soloists, a chamber choir and an orchestra.

Celtic Family Christmas

The fiddle duo, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy are going to be performing seasonal music with their entire family along with other talented musicians on their Celtic Family Christmas tour. The Celtic Family Christmas group is coming to Roy Thomson Hall on December 20th. They are also performing at other venues throughout Canada.
